INSIGHT FROM BONNIE

I am always inspired by my surroundings. I see beauty in so many things, beauty which I try to recapture in my paintings. My travels have provided me with an array of subject matter and since moving to Florida, my paintings reflect a tropical influence. Art has always played an important part in my life. If I am not painting in my studio, I am attending art classes, workshops, or visiting galleries and museums. Painting is many things to me. It gives me an opportunity to express myself and the satisfaction that my work pleases the viewer. There is no greater pleasure than having people enjoy something that I have painted, especially when painting is something that I love to do. The best part of it all is that I am able to do what I love every day.
